The enhancement and fixes detailed below pertain to the items included in the most recent BASCONNECTTM software release (Release 19.1).

 

Enhancements

Enhancements include new features and modifications for the following issues:

Moved and modified the Insurance Collections tab to the Collections Admin page to define enterprise-level rules and designate to which practice(s) the rule applies.

  • Added payment exceptions to collection generation rules.
  • Added functionality to assign guarantor and insurance tasks to collector work groups.
  • Added functionality to assign a default action at time of system task creation.

 

Collections Admin

Collections Admin topic added to Admin section of Connect that consolidates all collections information and actions information into a single page location.

Tabs added to Collections Admin page include: Actions & Action Series, Collector Groups, Guarantor Collections, Insurance Collections, Denial Collections, Pre-Collections, External Collections.

New Collector Groups tab added to the Collections Admin page to support the creation and utilization of collector groups to distribute guarantor, insurance, and denial collection tasks.

New Denial Collections tab added to the Collections Admin page to support the creation of denial groups to assign denial codes. The Denial Collections tab includes two sub-tabs: Denial Groups and Denial Assignment.

Consolidated and simplified steps for Actions and Action Series creation at the enterprise level.

Insurance collections task assignments to be processed in the following order:

  • Denial Group Assignments
  • Insurance Task Assignments

 

EDC

Updated logic so Residents sent in the case’s observing time slots of the EDC rather than the directed time slots.

 

External Collections
