Overview

The Collections Admin pages are comprised of seven tabs:

The Actions & Action Series tab is used to manage actions and actions series established in Connect. Actions/series can be created, updated, or deleted from this page.

All action management activities are completed from this page, including status and type definition, as well as practice and letter associations.

  • Actions created and updated here are available from Action drop down options when creating collections tasks for applicable practices / collection types (Guarantor and/or Insurance).

All action series management activities are completed from this page, including the ordering and inclusions of relevant actions, setting days before next action generation, and letter associations.

How to Get Here?

To open the Actions & Action Series tab:

  1. Click Collections Admin from the Admin list.
  2. Click the Actions & Action Series tab.

Identifies if the action is of Action or Action Series type. Action Series are most often used for letters.

Actions and Action Series are created as generic or enterprise-level actions and then assigned to specific practices for usage.

YesUser defined Action or Action Series name. Information in () following a name is the letter name associated with that action series task.

The list of collection letter layouts you can assign to an action. The collection letter is created in Connect for the applicable action.

Next Action

The next action performed in the collection effort, for example, telephone call, follow up call, reminder letter, demand letter, or final letter. The Next Action is the list of actions that have been defined. To specify the next action, select an action from the list.

The Action Type and Collection Type must be selected before you can specify the next action. The Next Action drop down is only enabled when Action is selected for Action Type. (If Series is selected, next action is defined automatically.)

Follow-up Days

Display Only

The number of days that must lapse before the next action occurs. The value specified becomes the trigger for the next action to perform.

Status

Display Only

YesIdentifies if the Action or Action Series is currently Active or Inactive.
Show Inactive

Checkbox

The Show Inactive checkbox allows you to display or hide inactive actions and action series. The checkbox defaults to unchecked; inactive actions/action series are not displayed unless the box is checked.

  1. Select the action or series to be removed.
  2. Click Delete. The action or series is deleted.
To make an action or action series inactive, rather than delete it, double-click it and mark the Inactive checkbox on the Action & Action Series: [name] page that displays.
