The Fee Schedules tab allows you to manage billing and expected fee schedules for the practice. There are two sections to the page: Billing Fee Schedules and Expected Fee Schedules.

The billing fee schedule is used for non-contractual fees and contains the fee structure for the following procedure types: anesthesia, medicine services, pathology and laboratory, radiology services, surgery, and pain management, including professional modifier (26) and technical modifier (TC). This fee schedule contains the fees for services, conversion factors, modifiers, and relative value units (RVU).

The expected fee schedule is used for contractual fees and contains the fee structure for calculating the allowed amount expected for services rendered to an insured of a specific payer. This fee schedule contains the flat rates and fees that are not going to be calculated by the billing fee schedule. Typically, the expected fee schedule contains only anesthesia procedures that will be charged a flat fee or percentage.

To open the Fee Schedules tab for new practice:

From the Home Page:	From the Menus:	Via Shortcut Keys:
Click Practices from the Admin list Click Create Click the Fee Schedules tab	Open the Admin menu and select Practices Click Create Click the Fee Schedules tab	From the Practices page, press [Alt] + [C] Click the Fee Schedules tab

To open the Fee Schedules tab for existing practice:

Click Practices from the Admin list
Select the practice to be modified
Click Update*
Click the Fee Schedules tab

*Alternate Navigation: Double-click the practice from the list

Open the Admin menu and select Practices
Select the practice to be modified
Click Update*
Click the Fee Schedules tab

From the Practices page, select the practice to be modified
Press [Alt] + [U]
Click the Fee Schedules tab

Field Definitions

Fee Schedule Name	Free Text	Yes	The name of the fee schedule as established in the fee schedule configuration.
Description	Free Text	No	The description of the fee schedule as established in the fee schedule configuration.
Effective	Date (mm/dd/yyyy)	Yes	The date the fee schedule became effective as the date by which fees are calculated for procedures.
Expiration	Date (mm/dd/yyyy)	No	The date the fee schedule is no longer used for calculating fees for procedures.
