Overview

The Outcome Groups tab is used to create and store Outcome Groups. The page can be used to manage the name, description, and active status, associated practice(s), associated outcomes, as well as the modifier for the outcome.

How to Get Here?

From the Home Page:From the Menus:
  1. Click Quality from the Admin list.
  2. Click the Outcome Groups tab.

A listing of all active outcomes in Connect. Selecting an Outcome Group in the Groups section allows for outcomes in the Outcomes section to be selected and associated with it.

Step-By-Step Guides

Create[Alt] + [C]Add a new outcome group to the table.
  1. From the Quality / Outcome Groups tab, click Create. The Create Outcome Group window opens.
  2. Enter the name of the Outcome Group in the Name field.
  3. Enter a description of the Outcome Group in the Description field.
  4. (Optional) Click the Inactive checkbox to make the group inactive. Note: It defaults to active upon creation.
  5. Click Save to save and close the Create Outcome Group window.
Update[Alt] + [U]Update an existing outcome group.
  1. From the Quality / Outcome Groups tab, select the Outcome Group to modify.
  2. Click Update. The Update Outcome Group window opens.
  3. Enter the updated name of the Outcome Group in the Name field.
  4. Enter or update the description of the Outcome Group in the Description field.
  5. Click the Inactive checkbox to make the group inactive.
  6. Click Save to save and close the Update Outcome Group window.
Outcome Groups can also be updated by selecting it from the Groups section and then modifying the Associated Practices and Outcomes.
Delete [Alt] + [D] Delete an outcome group.
  1. From the Quality / Outcome Groups tab, select the Outcome Group to delete.
  2. Click Delete. The Outcome Group is deleted.
