Use this task to modify the custom procedure categories used for reporting purposes.

From the Procedure Categories page, select the procedure category to be modified.

Click Update. The Procedure Category: [name] window opens.

Update the relevant information via the applicable steps below...

 
3Enter the name of the procedure category in the Name field. 
4(Optional) Enter search criteria in the Code, Year, and/or Description fields to filter the list of procedure codes displayed. 
5Select the procedure code(s) to add to the category from the list of available procedure codes.

Multiple codes can be selected by holding down the [Ctrl] key while selecting codes. 

 

 

6Click the Add () arrow to move the selected procedure code(s) to the Procedure Codes in this Category list.

Repeat the steps for adding codes to the category as needed to add all relevant codes.

Use the Remove () arrow to remove a code from the Procedure Codes in this Category list.
7Click Apply. 
8Click Save to save and close the page.
