Overview
There are two forms of this page. The fields and information displayed are identical between the two, but the pages are used for different functions:
- The Procedure Category: New page allows you to create procedure categories for reporting purposes.
- The Procedure Category: [name] page allows you to modify the custom procedure categories used for reporting purposes.

Field Definitions

| Name | Free Text | Yes | The name of the procedure category. |
| Code | Filter | No | Used to filter the procedure codes displayed. As you type, the procedure codes in the list are filtered to show only those that match what was typed. |
| Year | Filter | No | Used to filter the procedure codes displayed. As you type, the procedure codes in the list are filtered to show only those that match the year that what was typed. |
| Description | Filter | No | Used to filter the procedure codes displayed. As you type, the procedure codes in the list are filtered to show only those that match the description text that what was typed. |
| Available Procedure Codes Section | List of the procedure codes that can be associated to the procedure category. | ||
| Code | Display Only (pulled from system Codes) | Yes | The five-digit code that identifies the procedure code. |
| Year | Display Only (pulled from system Codes) | Yes | The year in which the code was released by the American Medical Association (AMA). |
| Description | Display Only (pulled from system Codes) | Yes | The description of the procedure code. |
| Procedure Codes in this Category Section | Table | No | This table includes the procedure codes (Code, Year, and Description) selected for inclusion in the procedure category. If the table is blank, no codes have been selected. |
