Overview

The Claim Holds page allows you to set claim holds, for a specified number of days from the date of service, at the practice, practice/payer, or practice/plan level.

How to Get Here?

From the Home Page:From the Menus:
  • Click Claim Holds from the Admin list 
  • Open the Admin menu and select Claim Holds

 


 

Field Definitions

PracticeFilterNoA drop down list of your practices. Selecting an option from the Practice filter limits the claim holds displayed on the page to only those for the selected practice.
Practice

The unique name of the practice.

Payer

(Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds)

NoThe unique name of the payer.
Plan

The unique name of the plan.

Number of Days 

Display Only

(Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds)

YesThe number of days the primary claims are being held, as it relates to the date of service. The hold is automatically lifted at the end of the last day.
