Overview
The Claim Holds page allows you to set claim holds, for a specified number of days from the date of service, at the practice, practice/payer, or practice/plan level.
Field Definitions
Field | Type | Required | Description |

| Filters | Filter | No | Allows the list of claim holds to be filtered by Practice and/or Provider. A drop down list of your practices/providers. Selecting an option from the filter(s) limits the claim holds displayed on the page to only those for the selected option(s). |
| Practice | Display Only (Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds) | Yes | The unique name of the practice. |
| Facility | Display Only (Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds) | No | The name of the facility associated with the claims being held. |
| Provider | Display Only (Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds) | No | The name of the provider associated with the claims being held. |
| Payer | Display Only (Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds) | No | The unique name of the payer. |
| Plan | Display Only (Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds) | No | The unique name of the plan. |
| Days | Display Only (Pulled from created/updated Claim Holds) | Yes | The number of days the primary claims are being held, as it relates to the date of service. The hold is automatically lifted at the end of the last day. |
