Use this task to remove mapped codes. When a code is removed, it is no longer available as a mapped code in Back Office. You cannot remove system defined mappings.

From the Code Mappingspage, open the Code Year drop down list and select the year in which the procedure codes were released by the AMA.

In the Mapped Codes listing, select one or more mapped codes to unlink the mapping.

Click Remove. Individual entries of the mapped codes are removed from the Mapped Codes listings.
As codes are unmapped, the mapped codes are no longer available in Connect Back Office. The associated ASA code is not listed with the CPT code and anesthesia specifics cannot be entered on the case.

Repeat the steps above for each code mapping to be removed.
