Complete this task to export contents of a pre-collections start or stop file in the comma separated value format. By default, the file is exported to the program configured with the computer running Connect Back Office. For example, for Microsoft Windows, the default program is Excel.

Your practice must be enrolled with a pre-collection service and your Connect platform must be configured by Cognizant to use this functionality. If both of these conditions are not met, the Pre-Collections option is not available from the Manage menu.

From the Start Files or Stop Files tab, create the start or stop file.

 

2Select the pre-collections file to export. 
3Click Export. The Save As window opens. 
4Select the save location, e.g., Desktop. 
5Enter the name of the pre-collections file in the File Name field.

By default, the name of the start file is [start_file_export_date_time].

By default, the name of the stop file is [stop_file_export_date_time].

6Click Save.
