Administrators can grant Connect platform access to specified IP addresses.

It is highly recommended to use this feature with static IP addresses. A static IP address is a permanent IP address manually assigned to a computer or network router.  Larger businesses or companies typically use routers with static IP addresses to process data communications.

This feature is not recommended for use with dynamic IP addresses - meaning, the device's or network router's IP address is automatically changed at regular or specified intervals (e.g., each time the device accesses the Internet, each time a file is downloaded/uploaded). Smaller business or home networks often use dynamic IP addresses.

Attempting to use this feature with dynamic IP addresses may result in repeated user lockout, including administrative users. Please confirm that IP addresses added to this page are static IP addresses.  If you are not sure of your IP address type, contact your network or IT administrator.
