The Portal window has familiar navigation aides that include a home page, title bar, menu bar, and a work pane consisting of pages and tabs.

  • The Home page displays when the application is launched after login.
  • The Title Bar shows Connect Back Office, the release number, the user name, and the URL of the Web server on which you are working. Use the minimize, maximize, and close buttons in the upper right corner to hide, show, and close the Connect Back Office application window.
  • The Menu Bar has menu commands that let you manage master lists and the elements that display on the Connect Back Office application window.
  • The Support Links area (found on the Home page) provides clickable links to commonly-used client websites.
  • The Work Pane contains the element pages for configuring and managing the master lists. Some pages contain tabs. These tabs are the child elements of that page. Multiple pages can be open at the same time. The title of each page is displayed horizontally along the top of the work pane.
