Overview
The Refunds page shows a list of refund transactions from which you can review the original transaction that created the refund or post the refund transaction. It displays all transactions that have been refunded.
Field Definitions

Payee Address | Read-only (Pulled from Refunds transactions) | Yes | The address of the guarantor or payer receiving the refund. |
Amount | Read-only (Pulled from Refunds transactions) | Yes | The amount of the refund. |
Description | Read-only (Pulled from Refunds transactions) | Yes | The description entered when the refund transaction was created. After the refund has been posted or saved, the description appears on the Notes tab of the Account to which the refund was applied. |
Creator | Read-only (Pulled from Refunds transactions) | Yes | The name of the person who created the refund transaction. |
Created | Read-only (Pulled from Refunds transactions) | Yes | The date and time when the refund transaction was created. By default, the table is sorted by this column. |
Check Number | Read-only (Pulled from Refunds transactions) | No | The check number of the check issued for the refund. The check number is recorded during posting of the refund. |
Status | Read-only (Pulled from Refunds transactions) | Yes | The current status of the refund transaction. The applicable statuses are:

View Trans | [Alt] + [V] | Opens the page or tab where the transaction originated so that you can see the transaction detail, for example, to the Active AR tab of the guarantor account, to the Suspense page, to the Refunds page, or to the Payment: ID tab for an insurance payment (IPYMT). |

Print Trans | [Alt] + [T] | Generates the Refunds Transaction report and shows it in a preview window. One or more refund transactions can be selected from the list. To select more than one refund transaction, hold down the CTRL key. |

[Alt] + [R] | If the practice is configured to print refund checks, the Print button is displayed. | ||
Reprint | [Alt] + [I] | Opens the Print window in read-only mode to that you can reprint the refund check. |

Deny | [Alt] + [D] | Opens the Deny Refund window where you can specify the reason the refund transaction is being denied. If the refund from Suspense is denied, the original transaction remains in the pending state. |
If the refund transaction originated from an insurance or guarantor payment, the transaction in the Active AR tab is updated with the appropriate markings for denial. For all other refund transactions, the originating transaction remains in a pending state. |
Reverse | [Alt] + [R] | Opens the Reverse Refund window where you can specify the accounting date, if applicable, and reason the refund transaction is being reversed. |
