1 | From the Act: [ID] / Patient List tab, select the patient to be updated. | This activity can also be initiated from the following locations in Connect: - From the Case: [ID] / Patient, Guarantor & Insurance tab, click the in the Patient field.
- From the Case: [ID] / Patient, Guarantor & Insurance tab, select an insurance in the Insurance table, and click Update. The Update Insurance window opens from where you can click the in the Subscriber Name field.
- From the People page, select the person record to update, and click Update.

3 | Person Information Tab In the Name and Address section of the Person Information tab, enter the name of the person in the Name field. | Last and First names are required for a person name, with the Middle and Suffix field being optional. |

The date of birth is not required when creating a person. However, it is required for a person who is designated as the patient on a case. If the date of birth is missing on the person record of the patient, you cannot save the case until the date of birth is entered. |

22 | Open the Marital Status drop down list and select the person's marital status. | |
23 | Open the Language drop down list and select the person's spoken language. | |

25 | Enter the person's current occupation in the Occupation field. | |
