Overview

The Code Mappings page is used to map one or more CPT or HCPCS codes to one or more ASA codes for use during charge entry in Connect Back Office. Codes are mapped based on a particular code year.

This page shows both system-mapped codes and user-mapped codes. System-mapped codes cannot be removed.

When you map multiple codes, each code is added individually to the mapped code listing. For example, suppose you map 76376 to 01922 and 01924. Two separate mappings appear in the mapped code listing (76376 → 01922 and 76376 → 01924).

Only non-system codes can be exported from the tables on this page.

Contains a listing of years, which relate to the year in which the codes were released by the American Medical Association (AMA).  Upon selecting a year, the appropriate codes are populated in the CPT Codes and ASA Codes listings.





Show System Code MappingsCheckbox No If checked, system-mapped codes are included in the mapped code listing. If this checkbox is not selected, only the user-defined mapped codes appear in the mapped code listing.

System Read-onlyYes

Identifies whether the mapped codes are system defined or user defined. You cannot remove system defined mappings. The values are true and false.

  • Yes = system defined mapping

  • No = user defined mapping
