About Connect Help

 What's New?

Support Documentation/Training

Welcome to BASCONNECTTM, commonly referred to simply as Connect. It is a platform consisting of multiple applications used for managing elements related to medical billing.

The Help Documentation guides you through using Connect via topics which provide:

  • Page, window, and field definitions
  • Step-by-step guides for common system processes
  • Links to helpful training videos and support documentation
  • Access to current and past release notes

 

Connect Help is currently under construction. Additional topics are forthcoming and will be added to the site as they are written.

The latest BASCONNECTTM release is 4.4. Highlights of this release include the following:

Procedure Codes

  • The ability to create procedure codes (pseudo codes) and map them to system billing codes was added via the new Procedure Codes and Pseudo Code Mappings pages.

Attaching Images

  • Attachments can now be added to guarantor accounts and to SVCFEs and PYMTs which do not contain image batches/sets.

New Fields

  • Added Charge Received Date to multiple forms and pages, including the Charge Batch > Charge Batch Information tab and Coding form.
  • Added the Facility field to the Distribution page for insurance payments. 
  • Added Use labor DOS From for C-Section procedure checkbox to the Plan > Anesthesia tab for instances where the insurance plan requires the labor and C-Section procedure codes to have the same date of service. 

Code Updates

  • Added 2017 ICD-10 code updates
  • Added 2016 Q4 code updates
