Overview
The Pending tab includes the Address Corrections from an imported DMA address update file that will be processed manually. The DMA address update file can be in either the NCOA or ACS format.
Address corrections are listed in the Corrections section until they are moved to the Errors section. The manual process posts the address corrections as Approved, Denied, or Ignored, or Marked Account.
An address correction can be approved with or without errors (missing data), for example, no state or no city.
- The approved address correction without errors is posted to the History tab with an Approved status, and the account is updated with the new address information.
- The approved address correction with errors is posted to the History tab with a Denied status and to the Errors section on the Pending tab. An address correction with errors must be acknowledged before it can be posted to Errors section on the History tab.
The denied address corrections are moved from the Pending tab directly to the Corrections section on the History tab. The address corrections have a Denied status. The account is not updated with the address information.
Address corrections are queued through a nightly process and then displayed when the Address Corrections page is opened or refreshed.
To display address correction files for a specific practice, click the drop-down list in the Filter Within Search Results section and choose a specific Practice. By default, this value is set to All.
