The File menu contains the menu commands for numerous activities, including changing passwords, setting preferences, creating new elements.

Change Password

[Alt]+[F]+[W]

Opens the Change Password page to change the password used to log into the Connect applications.
Preferences

[Alt]+[F]+[R]

Opens the Preferences page to set user preferences for the workstation.
New

[Alt]+[F]+[N]

Opens the secondary menu for creating accounts, charge batches, payment batches, persons, and organizations.
New > Account

[Alt]+[F]+[N]+[A]

Opens the Create Person page to add a person designated as the guarantor on an account. This option automatically creates the guarantor account by adding the person.
New > Charge Batch

[Alt]+[F]+[N]+[C]

Opens the Create Charge Batch window to create a charge batch for adding cases to it.
New > Payment Batch

[Alt]+[F]+[N]+[P]

Opens the Payment Batch: New page to create a payment batch for adding payments to it.
New > Person

[Alt]+[F]+[N]+[R]

Opens the Create Person page to add a person defined as a patient, guarantor, or subscriber.
New > Organization

[Alt]+[F]+[N]+[O]

Opens the Create Organization page to add a guarantor organization.
New > Small Balance Write-Off

[Alt]+[F]+[N]+[W]

Opens the Small Balance Writeoff page to view and post eligible small balance writeoffs.
Search

[Alt]+[F]+[E]

Opens the secondary menu for searching.
Search > Image Sets

[Alt]+[F]+[E]+[I]

Opens the Image Set Search page to search for a particular image set by the tag identification.
Launch Image Viewer

Not applicable

Starts Image Viewer to work with Image Batches in Back Office.
EDC Import

[Alt]+[F]+[I]

Opens the EDC Import page to specify the EDC interface and file being imported as a hospital download.

This option is license controlled and only appears if a custom interface has been developed for your hospital download.
ICD Gems

[Alt]+[F]+[G]

Opens the ICD GEMS page to search for and enter a code in the ICD-9 Code field. This, in turn, populates the GEM Scenario and Choice Selection window, displaying the potential ICD-10 code mappings for the entered ICD-9 code. The window is for informational purposes only.
Exit

[Alt]+[F]+[X]

Exits the Back Office application. If changes are detected, you will be prompted to save changes before exiting.
