Provider Group Page

Overview

There are two forms of this page. The fields and information displayed are identical between the two, but the pages are used for different functions:

The Provider Group: New page is used to create and define a new provider group.
The Provider Group: [name] page is used to maintain and make modifications to a previously created provider group.

How to Get Here?

To open the Provider Group: New page:

From the Home Page or Menus:	Via Shortcut Keys:
From the Practice / Provider Groups tab, click Create	From the Practice / Provider Groups tab, press [Alt] + [R]

To open the Provider Group: [name] page:

From the Home Page or Menus:

Via Shortcut Keys:

From the Practice / Provider Groups tab, select the provider group to be modified
Click Update*

*Alternate Navigation: Double-click the provider group from the list

From the Practice / Provider Groups tab, select the provider group to be modified
Press [Alt] + [U]

Provider Group: New Page

Provider Group: [name] Page

Field	Type	Required	Description
Name	Free Text	Yes	The name of the provider group.
Description	Free Text	No	The description of the provider group.
Available Providers	Display Only (pulled from created/updated Providers)	Yes	This table contains a list of the providers eligible for inclusion in a Provider Group. Detailed information on each Provider includes their Specialty, NPI, and UPIN, plus the Can Refer status.
Group Members	Read-only	No	This table includes the providers selected for inclusion in the Provider Group. If the table is blank, no providers have been selected.
